Biography: Mr. Johnson III attended Westminster School in Connecticut before attending Georgia Tech where he played baseball before transferring to Vanderbilt University.  While at Vanderbilt Mr. Johnson played baseball and graduated from the Vanderbilt School of Engineering.  Currently, he is the Executive Vice President Sundrop Bottling Co., Inc.,  Mr. Johnson is a third generation independent soft drink bottler with over 20+ years of experience and also serves on the 7up Bottlers Association board.  One of David’s passion is fishing as he was also a fly-fishing guide in Colorado.  Other hobbies include hunting, and wood working.


Greg Adkins President & CEO

Greg Adkins is the President & CEO of the Beverage Association of Tennessee (BAT) a statewide 501(c)(6) professional trade association representing local and regional soda, water, and juice bottlers.  Prior to this role he was President & CEO of the Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Association (TnHTA) which represented Tennessee restaurants, lodging, and tourism entities. Adkins is a former board and executive committee member of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, member of the Governor Haslam’s Tennessee Tourism Committee, Current Chairman of the Nashville Metropolitan Planning Commission, former Nashville Metropolitan Parks Board member, past Chairman of International Association of Hotel Executives, and former executive committee and board member of the Music City Bowl.
 
He served as the President of the Tennessee County Services Association, board member of the Tennessee County Commissioners Association, Chair of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce Business Conditions Council, and Board Member of the Tennessee Society of Association Executives. Formerly, Adkins was elected as Nashville Metropolitan Council District 26 for eight years before reaching his term limit. On the council, Greg served as Chair of the Convention Center & Tourism Committee passing the initial ordinance for the Music City Center and was the Chairman of the Rules and Confirmation Committee.
 
He also served as the Executive Director of the Tennessee Public Transportation Association.  Adkins is a veteran who served in the United States Army Reserve and holds a J.D. from the Nashville School of Law and a B.S. from Tennessee Tech University.
